What is Reflections?

Reflections is a National PTA cultural arts recognition program that helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas; develop artistic literacy; increase confidence and creativity; develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills; and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful not only in school, but in life. Students in pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a theme. The theme this year is Accepting Imperfection.

Chinook Trails MS PTSA is excited to announce the PTA Reflections contest for 2024: Accepting Imperfection. Students are invited to reflect on the theme, Accepting Imperfection, and express their ideas using visual art, literature, music composition, photography, dance or film. You can enter in any category and can submit more than one entry. All projects will be on display at the school, and winners in each category will go on to compete at the county, state and national levels. Please submit your projects to the bin in the office by Friday, November 1st. All entries must include an entry form, which can be filled out online or with a paper copy in the office.  For more information contact Maija Scoffield at 206-715-6502.
